Once Upon A Time...
It is always fun to see the trends we forecast become validated in fashion, art or culture. In this case, we were really excited to see Vera Wang's Fall 2012 Bridal Collection bring to life our Dark Fairytale trend we forecasted for 2012. Can't you imagine some of these dresses being worn while wandering through a dark forest or looking out the window of a shadowy castle? Only Vera Wang would be able to design dresses so beautiful that a bride might consider wearing black. The deconstructed chiffon, amazing texture and shaped bodices take these works of art to the next level. Vera Wang wants women to be confident and bold. Dare to make a statement. Go ahead...there's a part of you that would own this look. Part evil Step-Mother, part rebelious princess...take it and run.
